Hello 👋 I’m Wes Schaeffer, The Sales Whisperer®.

Back in September 2006, I was a disgruntled high-tech salesman. I had hired a sales mentor and was laying the foundation to go out on my own when I was inspired to buy the domain name, The Sales Whisperer®, and then trademark it.

But all good things must come to an end…kinda.

The Sales Whisperer® is alive and well, because it’s me.

I’m just following the advice I give my clients, which is to listen to your gut, follow your dreams, do what sets your soul on fire.

Having earned my black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu July 2025, I’m going all in on this new brand, BJJ and Biz, almost 19 years to the day after starting The Sales Whisperer®.

If you’ve listened to my podcasts or read my newsletter or posts anytime since 2017, you know I’ve been combining BJJ with biz since then.

So nothing has really changed, other than my obvious love of BJJ…and the name.

Oh, and the workshops I’ll be conducting where we go hands on to improve both your submissions and commissions. So stay tuned.
